All-In Summit 2025, recap
Sunday to Tuesday I attended the All-In Summit – the annual event of the All-In Podcast (#1 podcast in technology) – in Los Angeles.
Speakers included Elon Musk, Sir Demis Hassabis, Alex Karp, Tulsi Gabbard, Tucker Carlson…
I wrote up a recap of the event, that I’m pleased has been shared by three of the four hosts, and gotten nearly 600,000 views:
Here it is:

(This was written/published hours before the horrific killing of Charlie Kirk.)
Attending the Summit (or reading a recap of it) is one of the best things one can do to understand the thinking of those newly in proximity to President Trump.
Separate from the Summit, the week prior, a clip here (for ~3 minutes from this time-code) on the convening power of David Sacks – organizing a White House dinner with Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook, Sam Altman, Bill Gates…
Chamath: “What was incredible for me, just being in the room felt, frankly, very surreal. You’re seeing the leaders of the most important companies in the world sitting together. And I felt like there was a sense of alignment and cooperation…
I was so proud of [David] Sacks. Every single one of these guys – you’re talking the titans of titans – they took a moment to say that he was doing an incredible job.”

One of several big implications for Europeans from the event in Los Angeles I attended: the White House AI Czar asking the US Energy Secretary on stage: “Where are we going to get all our energy [for the AI Race] from?” The implication: much less American LNG is going to be available for export in years to come – which Europe, having made itself newly reliant on American energy – doesn’t appear to have cottoned onto.
Leaders in Europe would be wise to pay close attention to the thinking of this group.
